一、我国模具的发展形势
 我国的模具工业的发展,日益受到人们的重视和关注,在电子、汽车、电机、电器、仪器、仪表、家电和通信等产品中,60%~80%的零部件都要依靠模具成形(型)。用模具生产制件所具备的高精度、高复杂程度、高一致性、高生产率和代消耗,是其它加工制造方法所不能比拟的。近几年,我国模具工业一直以每年15%左右的增长速度发展,2003年,我国模具总产值超过400亿元人民币。
  二、现代模具的设计
  将客户提供的图纸或计算机文件资料输入电脑,使用CAD/CAE进行设计并做模拟实验,得出所需要的计算机文件,在此设计过程中,系统可进行图纸编辑。设计完成的模具零部件可使用电脑系统的实体成型功能将其显示出来,以便观察设计的正确性及可能需要进行优化处理,之后还可以借助系统功能进行强度、模温、塑料流动状态等模拟测试。如果发现设计有误可重新修改设计。
